The role
Do you have a passion for supporting and developing educators to deliver high-quality outcomes for children and families?
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Early Years Mentor to join our Early Years Services team. This role focuses on building educator capability through mentoring, coaching and professional learning, while supporting a positive, reflective and child-safe culture across our services.
Working collaboratively with educators, room leaders and service leaders, you will help strengthen professional practice, support workforce development initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement across our Early Learning Centres.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to supporting others to grow and thrive in their professional practice. You will have experience mentoring, coaching or developing educator capability, along with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
You will bring a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, relevant legislation and the Victorian Child Safe Standards, and be confident working collaboratively across multiple teams and services. You will be organised, adaptable and committed to fostering safe, inclusive and high-quality learning environments for children and families.
A satisfactory Police Record Check, Working with Children Check (Employee), Level 2 First Aid and Anaphylaxis qualifications and a tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or a related discipline are required for this position.
