Coordinator Strategic Infrastructure Planning – Band 8

  • Full Time or Part Time (flexible), Temporary
  • 4 - 6 weeks (dependent on recruitment). Dates required: 22 April 2024 until 17 May 2024

The Strategic Infrastructure Planning team, within the Strategic Planning Unit, oversees the management and reporting of the City’s Development Contributions Schemes. The team provides strategic infrastructure planning advice across the organisation, as well as project manages consultants/ agencies preparing specialist infrastructure strategies and plans.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Strategic Planning Unit and the organisation by:

  • Continuing oversight of endorsed Development Contributions Plans.
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including relevant State Government departments and agencies, on the Bendigo Regional Employment Precinct.
  • Working with agencies and consultants that are preparing the Marong Development Contributions Framework and the Bendigo Regional Employment Precinct Development Strategy/ Infrastructure Strategy, on behalf of the City.
  • Providing strategic advice to relevant Units across the organisation on infrastructure planning.
