Manager Active and Healthy Communities 

  • Full time
  • 3 weeks backfill, dates required: 6 to 24 October 2025

This is a development opportunity to work with a high-performing team and progress Unit and organisational priorities by:

  • Overseeing the delivery of a diverse range of policies, plans, programs and projects (including capital projects) that are responsive to community health and wellbeing needs and outcomes
  • Supporting Coordinators and the Unit to deliver high-quality and responsive customer service, community engagement and stakeholder management
  • Ensuring the effective and efficient use of allocated resources including compliance and management of all funding and service contracts/agreements
  • Being part of a driven and energetic team that values collaboration and partnering
  • Supporting advocacy and funding application development, particularly to other levels of government
  • Being part of a committed and strategic leadership team within the Healthy Communities and Environments Directorate and valued for your contributions
