Manager Parks & Open Space

  • Full time, Temporary
  • 11 weeks backfill, dates required: 27 May 2024 to 12 August 2024

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Parks and Open Space Unit and the organisation by:

  • Lead and manage a range of high-quality community services and programs that are responsive to community needs and meet service contracts, standards and legislation.
  • Ensure all services are responsive to client and community needs and meet the requirements of the Customer Service Charter
  • Provide leadership, direction and support for delegated staff
  • Establish and maintain productive, respectful relationships with the Executive, Council and other Managers who interact with the Parks and Open Space Unit.
  • Manage expenditure in accordance with organisation approved budgets for each work area and prepare required reports.
