The role

In this varied role, you will:

  • Provide influential, credible and strategic advice to a range of stakeholders who are delivering capital projects on behalf of the City of Greater Bendigo
  • Coordinate relationships with key organisations to ensure effective delivery of major capital upgrades
  • Provide influential oversight to ensure effective management and delivery of key corporate projects and programs
  • Provide oversight and coordination of capital projects and programs including managing relationships with funding bodies, grant acquittals and financial reporting.

Current projects include Red Energy Area and Bendigo Showgrounds redevelopment.

This is a 2 day a week temporary job share role until December 2026, with flexibility on the days and hours worked.

About You

You will utilise your project management skills and have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills with a customer service focus
  • Leadership experience and enjoy working in a team environment
  • Excellent decision making skills with the ability to develop and implement short term business plans to achieve long term strategic objectives
  • Strong finance knowledge and experience, with ability to manage expenditure against budget

A satisfactory police check, employee working with children check and drivers licence are required for this role.
