The Role

In this important role you will support the delivery, review and implementation of Equity across the City as a key component of the City’s Social Justice Framework.

You will lead the development and implementation of effective strategies, partnerships, programs including Equity Impact Assessments that increase social inclusion and advance equity.

You will also develop and maintain strategic relationships and networks, working collaboratively to promote social justice via a commitment to responding to the priorities of disadvantaged groups in the community and facilitate collaborative research projects utilising a range of methodologies to collect data, analyse results, develop findings and recommendations and prepare reports.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive knowledge of community development, access and inclusion, social justice principles and the proven ability to effectively apply these within organisational and community contexts.

You will have an understanding of a systems change framework, the current policy context and support services, a comprehensive understanding of equity and disadvantage in our community and experience communicating and influencing outcomes for the community.

A satisfactory police check and Working with Children Check (Employee) is required for this position.
