The RoleMaternal and Child Health Coordinator – Exciting New Leadership Role.The City of Greater Bendigo is introducing an exciting new position for a passionate and experienced leader to join our team as Maternal and Child Health Coordinator. This is your opportunity to shape the future of maternal and child health services across our region.In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic leadership and operational management of the Maternal and Child Health Service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, and person-centred care for families. You’ll lead a dedicated professional team, drive service improvements through strategic planning and quality initiatives, and manage budgets and reporting requirements.Your work will make a meaningful impact by:
- Enhancing community health outcomes for children and families.
- Identifying service gaps and shaping programs to meet evolving needs.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
You are an experienced leader with formal qualifications in Maternal and Child Health Nursing (or equivalent), and current registration as a Registered Nurse and Midwife. You bring strong clinical governance expertise, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to lead teams through change.Your skills include:
- Managing people practices, including performance management and staff development.
- Strategic planning and quality improvement within MCH programs.
- Budget management and financial reporting.
