The Role

You will be part of the team maintaining the City’s infrastructure assets with particular focus on the maintenance of rural and urban open drainage assets.

Duties include:

  • Responsible for the repair and maintenance of rural and urban drainage assets
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient execution of a wide range of maintenance tasks
  • Safe and efficient operation of a range of plant associated with maintenance and construction activities
  • Responsible for ensuring the routine and special servicing and maintenance of plant.

About You

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • Skills and experience in either general road maintenance or civil construction work using heavy equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a safe and efficient worksite
  • Ability to operate a range of plant associated with maintenance and construction activities
  • Sound communication skills.

A satisfactory police records check and a current driver’s licence, with Medium Rigid (MR) endorsement, is required for this position.

This position is based at our Adam Street, Golden Square depot, with work on various sites in the Greater Bendigo region.
