The Role

Do you have experience or an interest in the construction, building or surveying industry?

We are seeking either a Registered Building Inspector (Band 6) or a Building Technical Officer (Band 5) to work across the City of Greater Bendigo region.

You will help build the communities confidence in the building permit process and support the integration of the planning and building approvals process.

This role focuses on supporting the community in all matters regarding building compliance, regulations and providing high level customer support.

About You

You will have a sound knowledge of building and construction industry regulations, codes and standards.

You will also be keen to learn, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and enjoy working in team environment.

It is essential that you have a current driver’s licence as this position will conduct site inspections in a council vehicle.

A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
