The Role
In this varied role, you will provide accurate and timely legal advice to the organisation on a broad range of legal matters including the interpretation of Acts, regulations and subordinate instruments, leasing, commercial contracts as well as managing conflict of Interest declarations, processing freedom of information requests, maintaining information registers and coordinating the development of organisational strategic documents and policies.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in providing legal advice, the ability to understand and interpret Acts, regulations and subordinate instruments and governance processes and policies, have excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
Previous experience in government or regulated sector will be highly regarded.
Relevant qualifications in law, a current (or eligibility to hold) practicing certificate permitting legal practice in Victoria and a satisfactory police records check are required for this position.
