The Role

Calling all sound enthusiasts seeking their next opportunity in the preforming arts industry!

The Bendigo Venues & Events (BV&E) unit, is a dynamic leader in performing arts programs and cultural activity, managing and programming five of Bendigo’s premiere arts and events venues - Ulumbarra Theatre, The Capital, Engine Room, Dudley House and Bendigo Town Hall.

We are seeking a Senior Audio Technician, who will be responsible for day-to-day technical operation of specialist audio equipment and systems at all BV&E venues.

You will be responsible or general maintenance and documentation of specialist audio equipment and systems.

Flexibility in working hours is required including early starts, weekends, public holidays and/or evening work. To find out more about BV&E, please visit our website.

About You

You will have experience in the technical operation of audio equipment and systems in large live entertainment venues or similar environment and the ability to manage building technical services inclusive of trouble shooting and rectification. You will have a customer service focus, good communication, time management and problem solving skills and enjoy working in a team environment.

A satisfactory police records check and Working with Children Check (Employee) is required for this position.
