The Role
You will provide effective and efficient aerodrome inspections and maintenance to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. You will also implement that Transport Security Program and provide customer service for Regular Passenger Transport services.  

You will actively monitor and maintain airside safety functions to ensure compliance, and conformance with operational policies and procedures whilst delivering a superior customer experience.

Key duties include runway and taxiway inspections, wildlife hazard management, airside works support and airside reporting duties, maintenance and cleaning activities. This role will also work landside and have involvement and exposure to all facets of the airport’s operations, in a Regional Airport environment.

About you
You will have a strong attention to detail, data entry and record keeping skills and the ability to plan, organise and manage time effectively. Experience within aviation is not necessary (although desirable) as training is provided, but and interest and motivation to learn about all thing’s aviation will serve you well.

Experience in previous grounds management or trade background with a previous work history showing an ability to adapt to many different tasks is required.  

This part time role is 15 hours per week on a rotating roster and is located at the Bendigo Airport in East Bendigo. Working remotely isn’t available for this position.

A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
