The role
If you are a recent graduate and looking to start your career, we have an exciting opportunity available at the City of Greater Bendigo. Due to continual growth of the Greater Bendigo region, we are seeking a Statutory Planner (Band 5) to fill a critical support role in the Statutory Planning unit.
As part of a multi-disciplinary Directorate, you will additionally contribute knowledge to strategic planning projects, planning compliance matters, and process improvements.
About you
You will have a strong customer focus, provide accurate and consistent advice and support to residents, developers and consultants and manage a caseload of planning applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clear and precise reports, permits and correspondence are essential for this position.
A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
