The role
Working with a large team of supportive and collaborative professionals, you will provide accurate and consistent advice and support to residents, developers, and consultants and manage a caseload of subdivision-related planning applications of a moderate to complex nature.
You will also deliver and maintenance of the Subdivision Certification process.
You will oversee the passage of planning applications through the legislated planning process from lodgment to decision, making recommendations in accordance with the Greater Bendigo Planning Scheme.
As part of a multi-disciplinary organisation you may additionally contribute to strategic planning projects relating to managing growth, heritage, neighborhood character, and the environment, planning compliance matters, and process improvements.
About you
You will have statutory planning experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clear and precise reports, permits, and correspondence. You will hold a Degree or Diploma qualification with relevant experience in Planning or a similar discipline.
This role requires a satisfactory police records check.
