The Role
As our Project Officer - Property (advertised as "Project Manager - Capital Works"), you're working within our Property Services projects team, you will the ensure effective planning, design, documentation and delivery of approved and proposed capital works projects across the organisation.
You will project manage a variety of minor and major capital works projects, including developing initial concept designs and estimates for planned and future capital works projects. You will also ensure all procurement of works and services is undertaken to ensure best practice and value for money.
Current projects include Long Gully Neighbourhood Centre Renewal, South Bendigo Bowls Club restumping and public amenity design and renewal at Kennington Reservoir.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in the development, management and delivery of both minor and major capital works projects with an excellent understanding and awareness of current building regulations, standards and practices and OH&S.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to gain cooperation and assistance from internal and external stakeholders is essential. You will also have strong time management, organisational and the ability to prioritise tasks with conflicting demands.
A satisfactory police records check and drivers licence is required for this position.
