The role

Utilising your project and contract management skills, you will:

  • Undertake a key role in effective planning of maintenance, servicing and renewal programs for aquatics plant, equipment and structures.
  • Develop initial concept designs and estimates for planned and future capital works projects to a broad range of council owned buildings, aquatic facilities and structures.
  • Develop and deliver a variety of minor and medium capital works projects and service programs.
  • Provide technical expertise to ensure all projects delivered meet regulatory and compliance requirements.

About You

To be successful in this varied role, you will have:

  • Excellent project management skills with demonstrated experience in the development, management and delivery of both minor and medium capital works projects.
  • Strong understanding of aquatic facilities, plant & equipment asset management or maintenance.
  • Sound understanding of principles of OH&S Law and practice in relation to the use of contractors.
  • Current understanding and awareness of current building regulations, standards and practises.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.

 

A satisfactory police check, employee working with children check and drivers licence is required for this role.
