The Role

Deliver the City of Greater Bendigo’s community events program, creating inclusive experiences that bring people together and activate public spaces. You’ll manage events end-to-end, from planning and procurement through to marketing, risk and delivery, while ensuring they are safe, engaging and aligned with Council priorities.

You’ll also provide expert support to community event organisers, build strong stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement to enhance the quality and impact of events across the region.

About You

You’re an experienced events professional who thrives on delivering well-run, community-focused events. Highly organised and solutions-focused, you can juggle multiple priorities while keeping safety, quality and stakeholder needs front of mind.

A strong communicator and collaborator, you build trusted relationships and provide practical advice that supports successful outcomes. You’re passionate about creating inclusive, high-quality experiences that strengthen community connection.

This role requires a satisfactory police records check and employee Working with Children Check.
