The role

In this varied role, you will work closely with our community to oversee the City’s 54 community halls, supporting fair access, participation and opportunities for all. You will also:

  • Support the effective operation, management and maintenance of community facilities
  • Contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of facility‑related projects
  • Gather and analyse information from Committees of Management, including hall usage, finances, maintenance needs and future requirements, to inform decision‑making
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, fostering collaboration to address community priorities and achieve shared outcomes

This is a part‑time position (3 days per week) with flexibility in days and hours worked.

About You

You have a strong commitment to community engagement and apply strengths‑based (asset‑based) approaches to support inclusive and sustainable community development. You also bring:

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in project management
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable in undertaking research, evaluation and analysis
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service

A current Police Check, Working with Children Check (Employee) and driver’s licence are required for this position.
