The Role

An opportunity exists within the City’s Engineering Unit for a Project Manager to join our supportive and collaborative team, with a specific focus on the delivery of several high profile and exciting civil and recreational infrastructure projects.

You will project manage a number of projects including the preparation and management of contracts and reporting of financial performance and physical progress of the projects.

The type of projects the team delivers are roads, bridges, footpaths, dam improvements, cricket nets, tennis courts, netball courts, sports oval redevelopments, play spaces and open space / landscape redevelopments.

About You

As the successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in applying civil construction and project management principles and practices, specifically as they relate to municipal and recreational infrastructure. Skills in managing time, setting priorities, contract administration, project management and a strong stakeholder engagement focus are all essential for this role.

If you hold a relevant Degree or Diploma qualification, have Project Management experience in delivery of civil or recreational infrastructure projects and want to make a lasting impact on community assets which the City manages, we welcome your application.
