The Role
Our large Engineering team currently have two opportunities for experienced Infrastructure Engineers.
One role has a focus on stormwater drainage and flooding with the other role having a focus on infrastructure assets such as roads and bridges.
Key responsibilities of the roles include:
- Provide timely specialist technical advice to a range of stakeholders
- Investigate and evaluate infrastructure and engineering issues
- With a customer service focus, act as the City’s primary contact point for relevant enquiries
- Project manage and administer contracts of varying scale and complexity
- Work with both internal maintenance teams and external consultants and contractors on relevant projects
- Develop forward capital works programs and upgrades including the preparation of estimates for budget submissions
- Prepare a range of reports and correspondence
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant engineering qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in applying civil engineering and environmental principles and practices, specifically as they relate to stormwater drainage and floodplain management or infrastructure assets
- Strong project management skills – ensuring projects are delivered to the scope, on time and budget
- The ability to prioritise competing tasks with excellent time management skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
A satisfactory police records check, pre employment medical and drivers licence are required for these positions.
