The Role

As a Community Participation Officer, you will deliver projects, programs and partnerships that strengthen community connection, inclusion and wellbeing across the City of Greater Bendigo. Working with community members, service providers and key stakeholders, you will lead initiatives that support children, young people, older adults and families to participate fully in community life. You'll bring people together, build strong partnerships and help shape strategies and projects that create positive outcomes for our community.

About You

You are a community-minded professional with experience delivering projects, programs or initiatives that create positive social outcomes. You enjoy working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, building strong partnerships and turning ideas into action. With strong communication and organisational skills, you can manage competing priorities while maintaining a focus on inclusion, participation and community wellbeing. Experience in community development, social planning, health, local government or a related field will be highly regarded.

This role requires a satisfactory Police Records Check and Employee Working with Children Check.
