The Role

Working as a key member of our supportive and collaborative IT team, you will provide professional, friendly, and timely technical support through our Service Desk to City staff and Councillors. 

In this role you will participate in the day-to-day operations of the IT Service Centre which includes responding to incidents and service requests and providing advice to staff on possible causes and solutions associated with identified and documented issues.

 About You

To be successful in this role you will have knowledge and experience with a range of:

  • Current operating systems
  • Microsoft applications
  • Windows end user compute
  • Mobiles devices
  • Fundamental IT technologies

You will bring a proactive, customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service, as well as experience in user support & training as well as the creation and maintenance of support documentation. You will have strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills together with good problem solving and time management skills.
