The Role
The Bendigo and Heathcote Visitor Centres are open 7 days per week and service over 120,000 people annually combined. They deliver an innovative range of visitor servicing programs and provide enriched visitor experiences within the region.
You will be responsible for drive the growth and development of products and sales at the Bendigo and Heathcote Visitor Centre retail stores and to provide an exceptional front of house Visitor Service experience in the Bendigo Visitor Centre to increase visitor length of stay, spend, regional dispersal and repeat visitation.
You will work 4-days a week from Monday to Thursday. The role is primarily based at the Bendigo Visitor Centre with minimum one day a fortnight based at Heathcote Visitor Centre.
About You
As our Visitor Experience Officer – Retail, you will have:
- Visitor Services, tourism or retail experience.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder liaison skills.
- Creative mindset and flexible attitude to problem solve.
A current drivers licence, satisfactory Police Check and Working with Children Check (employee) are required for this position.
