The Role

An opportunity exists within the City’s Engineering Unit for a Senior Project Manager to join our supportive and collaborative team. The role has a specific focus on leading the delivery of several high priority and exciting civil and recreational infrastructure projects. 

You can also influence the broader functions of the City’s Civil Infrastructure Delivery team through identification of innovative and/or cost-effective construction or procurement methodologies and supporting/mentoring other project managers. 

About You

The successful candidate will have proven knowledge and experience in applying civil construction and project management principles and practices, specifically as they relate to municipal and recreational infrastructure. Skills in managing time, setting priorities, contract administration, project management and a strong stakeholder engagement focus are all essential for this role.

If you hold a relevant Degree or Diploma qualification, have several years of subsequent Project Management experience in delivery of civil or recreational infrastructure projects and want to make a lasting impact on community assets which the City manages, we welcome your application.
