The Role
In this varied role, you will provide administrative support to the Engineering Unit to achieve efficient, effective and comprehensive delivery of the City’s engineering, technical and organisational service functions.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Be the first point of contact for the team and support the completion of customer enquires
- Undertake a range of administration tasks including organising meetings and taking minutes
- Process financial claims and invoices
- Monitor actions and deadlines
- Assisting in preparing reports and communications
- Assist in the maintenance and updating of engineering records and database systems
This is a part time, 3 day a week (22 hours a week) role, with flexibility on the days and hours worked.
About You
You will be an experienced administrator and will bring your:
- Demonstrated administration skills with a commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people
- Strong attention to detail, computer and data entry skills
- Enjoy working in a team environment
Experience in engineering, technical or finance environments are highly regarded.
This role requires a satisfactory police records check.
