The Role

As the Coordinator of Kerbside Collection & Street Cleaning Operations you will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the residential organics and commercial general waste, Street Sweeper and Bin Maintenance programs to ensure works are carried out expeditiously and economically and in accordance with the service standard.

You will oversee the front line management of kerbside recycling and residential general waste contract management, planning and delivery of all operations of the kerbside collection, street cleaning and bin maintenance services.

This position is based at our Adam Street Depot in Golden Square where you will work closely with other units and teams within the organisation.

About You

As the successful applicant, you will have extensive knowledge and comprehension of Waste Management Operations and compliance. 

You will have experience leading a team, managing budgets and undertaking reporting. You will have a continuous improvements focus, excellent written and verbal communication skills, be good with technology and have a strong customer service focus. 

A satisfactory police records check and current Driver’s licence is required for this position.
