The Role

We are seeking a Kindergarten Teacher to join the Annie Galvin Early Learning Centre in Bendigo CBD where free on street parking is available.

You will plan and implement kindergarten educational programs as per funding requirements and in line with the National and Victorian framework reforms which provides for the physical, emotional, developmental and social needs of children in care.

You will also work towards ensuring school readiness for the children and contribute to the maintenance of an effective, efficient, quality learning and care service that provides a safe, secure environment and meets the needs of the community.

About You

You will have excellent communication skills, enjoy working in a team environment in a established centre, have the ability to create community links and plan and implement an emergent curriculum for our kindergarten children.

If you hold tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Development or similar disciple which is equivalent and approved by the Victorian Branch of the Australian Early Childhood Association, we welcome your application.

A satisfactory police records check, Working with Children Check, Current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration, First Aid Level 2, CPR and Anaphylaxis certifications are also required.
