The Role

Do you have a customer service focus and want to support our community?

You will be a friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient frontline point of contact for our customers – either face to face at our service counters, in our busy contact centre or online via email or webchat. 

You will assist our customer with a range of queries, with our most common being on waste services, rates payments, planning enquiries, property maintenance and animal control.

This role is primarily located at Galkangu (Bendigo GovHub), 189 - 229 Lyttleton Terrace, Bendigo and will work 3 days a week from 8.30am – 5pm, with flexibility on the days worked.

About You

To be successful in this busy role, you will have experience in a customer service or contact centre environment, enjoy interacting with a wide range of people with the ability to be empathetic and remain patient as well as possessing strong interpersonal, communication, computer and time management skills.

You will enjoy working in a team environment and supporting our community.

A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
