The Role

Bendigo Venues & Events is investing in its marketing capability to support audience growth, strengthen community engagement and deliver exceptional experiences across its portfolio of arts, culture and entertainment venues. As part of this exciting period of growth and evolution, we're seeking an experienced Marketing Lead to help shape and drive our marketing direction.

In this new leadership role, you will develop and deliver integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that connect audiences with some of Bendigo's most iconic venues, events and cultural programs. Working closely with internal stakeholders, external suppliers and a dedicated marketing team, you'll provide expert advice, coordinate campaign delivery, analyse performance and identify opportunities to increase audience engagement and attendance.

You'll lead day-to-day marketing operations, support and mentor team members, manage competing priorities and help shape innovative marketing approaches that connect our community and visitors with exceptional cultural experiences.

Some flexibility in working hours is required, including occasional evening and weekend work to support events and key campaigns.

About You

You are a strategic and collaborative marketing professional who enjoys turning ideas into impactful campaigns. With experience in marketing, audience development, communications or a related field, you bring a strong understanding of campaign planning, stakeholder engagement and performance analysis.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on delivery. Confident working with a broad range of stakeholders, you build trusted relationships, provide expert advice and use data-driven insights to identify opportunities and improve outcomes.

A natural organiser and people leader, you are comfortable coordinating competing priorities, supporting team members and driving results while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

A satisfactory Police Records Check and Working with Children Check are required for this position.
