The Role

The IT Strategic Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in bridging business needs and technology solutions to support the City’s long-term strategic objectives. This position leads and supports IT projects, facilitates discovery workshops, and provides expert business analysis to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions. With a focus on digital transformation, financial improvements, and process optimisation, the role ensures technology systems are fit for purpose and aligned with organisational goals. Success in this role requires strong stakeholder engagement, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex projects within a dynamic environment.

About You

You are an experienced Business Analyst with a proven track record in delivering end-to-end solutions within digital transformation initiatives. Your strengths lie in stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and process re-engineering to drive efficiency and quality outcomes. Skilled in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, you combine technical expertise with strategic thinking to design solutions that enhance business performance. You thrive in complex environments, balancing multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining a collaborative and innovative approach. With strong financial acumen and exceptional communication skills, you are committed to delivering technology solutions that create measurable value for the organisation.

A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
