The Role
In this busy and diverse role, you will provide full administrative and project support to the Major Projects and Portfolio Management unit. This newly formed unit is responsible for managing the City’s assets, delivering capital programs, and setting project priorities. They also oversee the Project Management Office (PMO) for the organisation.
You will undertake a broad range of high-level administrative duties, support and track a range of projects and initiatives across the team.
The types of projects currently being managed by the team include, Regional Sports and Infrastructure upgrade Projects such as Bendigo Stadium, Bendigo Showgrounds and the Bendigo Bowls and Croquet Club.
You will also undertake finance tasks and assist with the preparation of a range of written correspondence and reporting which may include;
- Tracking actions and key deliverables across the unit
- Collating and preparing monthly unit reporting
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives

About You
To be successful in this role you will have a customer service focus, excellent administrative and project support skills together with strong verbal and written communication skills, excel in time management and financial accounting skills.
You will be highly proficient with a broad range of software programs, including Microsoft Office.
A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
