The role

In this new position within our Property Services team, you will lead a newly formed team who deliver the City’s Strategic Property Management functions which include Contaminated Land Management, Built Heritage management and Strategic Property Services projects.

You will also lead and manage property transactions (sales and acquisitions)in line with Council Strategies, plans and service needs and facilitate in line with best practice planning, procurement and contract management processes ensuring delivery of works and services is undertaken in accordance with relevant Acts and legislation Frameworks.

About You

To be successful in this varied position, you will have strong team leadership experience, experience and understanding of strategic land and property management dealings, knowledge of industry and relevant acts and legislation, strong strategic planning skills and policy development experience. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, relationship building skills and project management skills.
