The Role
An opportunity exists within the City’s Engineering Unit for a Project Officer to join our supportive and collaborative team. Your focus will be to ensure the effective planning, documentation and delivery of minor civil infrastructure projects.
The type of projects the team delivers are roads, bridges, footpaths, dam improvements, cricket nets, tennis courts, netball courts, sports oval redevelopments, play spaces and open space / landscape redevelopments.
About You
As the successful candidate will have knowledge and some experience in applying civil construction and project management principles and practices. Skills and/or knowledge in managing time, setting priorities, contract administration, project management and a strong stakeholder engagement focus are all require for this role.
If you hold a relevant Degree or Diploma qualification, have relevant experience or knowledge in delivery of civil infrastructure projects and want to make a lasting impact on community assets which the City manages, we welcome your application.
