Manager Major Projects & Portfolio Management

This is a development opportunity to contribute to the Major Projects & Portfolio Management Unit and the organisation by providing strategic and operational leadership across the following key areas:

  • Leading and supporting the Major Projects & Portfolio Management Unit to ensure continuity of leadership and oversight of the City’s capital works and asset management activities
  • Overseeing delivery of major infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with Council objectives, approved budgets, timelines and quality expectations
  • Supporting ongoing initiatives related to business improvement, capital assurance and development of organisational capability in project portfolio and asset management
  • Contributing to the Presentation and Assets Directorate Leadership Team and supporting coordination of project and asset management activities across the organisation
  • Maintaining key internal and external relationships to ensure effective collaboration with other business units, government agencies and delivery partner

This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop and demonstrate leadership capability at a senior level within the Presentation & Assets Directorate while supporting the City’s strategic objectives in project delivery and portfolio management.
