The role
Working in our Engineering unit, you will support the team to achieve compliance with the City’s Road Management Plan obligations and implement sound asset management practices. You will support the ongoing safety, availability and functionality of the City’s assets and contribute to the maintenance of robust and accurate corporate and financial knowledge regarding the state of City assets.
You will undertake inspections and identify defects on the road and footpath network and update information in our GIS and Asset Management systems.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have an understanding of asset management, GIS and/or asset inspection practices, principles and benefits. You will also have strong computer skills, good attention to detail with strong communication and time management skills.
A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
