The Role

The Healthy Loddon Campaspe (HLC) initiative is seeking a committed, team oriented and experienced professional to join a regional team working across local government and local communities to make health everyone’s business.

HLC is a state government funded initiative aimed at improving health outcomes across the Loddon Campaspe region – the ‘heart’ of Victoria. The success of the initiative has resulted in further state government funding through to June 2026.

As the Macedon Ranges Health Broker, you will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to generate and deliver community activation programs and projects focused on physical activity, healthy eating and food systems.

As the ideal candidate, you will also generate creative ideas and solutions to get the best outcomes for community, create partnerships, be flexible and responsive to emerging community needs and contribute to various place-based and regional initiatives.

About You

This would be an ideal role if you have experience and interest in population health or health promotion or with transferable skills in areas such as project planning and implementation, stakeholder engagement, change management, community engagement, strategic planning, communications and evaluation.

We welcome applications from persons with tertiary qualifications in public health, health promotion, community development or social sciences with relevant postgraduate qualifications highly regarded. 

A satisfactory police record check and Working with Children’s Check is required for this role.

This position is located in Kyneton, an approximate 45-minute drive from Bendigo. There is flexibility on which days of the week are worked.
