The role

Do you want to make a real difference to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across a diverse and vibrant regional city?

In this varied role you will work collaboratively with Council’s stakeholders and partners to help deliver the Greater Bendigo 2030 Zero Emissions Roadmap, which is made up of equitable projects that focus on renewable energy, electrification of households and businesses, sustainable transport, a circular economy and sustainable food systems.

This role will be located within the Greater Bendigo Climate Collaboration team within the Climate Change and Environment Unit. The Greater Bendigo Climate Collaboration brings together key stakeholders within the City and across the region to identify and implement initiatives to achieve the City’s zero carbon goal.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have strong project management skills with experience in designing and delivering initiatives that contribute to emission reductions across the community. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, advanced analytical skills, experience in identifying and obtaining grants and funding and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
