The Role

In this varied role, you will ensure the successful implementation and regular review and update of the Management of Contaminated Land Framework to ensure compliance with the current Environmental Protection Act, associated Regulations and Council Policies and Procedures.

You will ensure the General Environmental Duties as defined in the Environmental Protection Act for managing contaminated (and potentially contaminated) land either owned or managed by the City is identified, documented, and communicated to anyone identified as being in control and/or management of the land.

This role is 4 days a week with flexibility on the days worked with up to 2 days can be worked remotely.

About You 

As the successful applicant, you will have relevant experience in contaminated land assessment and remediation or similar related discipline with good working knowledge of contaminated land, risk management, Legislative property matters (contamination) and property terminology.

A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
